AML obligations for the art market expand into the US


The 2021 changes to the US Bank Secrecy Act are now affecting certain members of the art market. Going forward dealers in antiquities and related advisors must conduct due diligence on their clients and file "suspicious activities" reports. A study of the greater US art trade is on the way.
